Whuffaoke LAS Wrap Up
After the epic stress of the first night in San Francisco and the disastrous journey down to Los Angeles, our Las Vegas event wemt incredibly smoothly, well, almost. There was a slight hicup where 2 hours before the event we realized no one had contacted the venue about bringing the RV, and that the venue, even if they did want us, was in a red zone so no chance of parking and partying.
We scrambled and with all hands on deck we decided if we can’t bring Winnie to the party, we have to bring the party to Winnie! We announced the change of venue and invited everyone to the KOA Circus Circus.
We kicked off the party in the lot at around 7PM with Karen’s phenominal rendition of “My Heart Will Go On” for the local tv station KLAS and planned to go through until 10 PM when quiet time started. There was beer and singing and lots of fun. We even tried to convince some of the ‘locals’ to join us. The best part of the night was when, at 10PM after what we thought was our last song, the KOA guy drove over in their golf cart and said “thanks for not getting rowdy” and “you can go on till 11″.
After the party the we hung out in the RV park telling stories before heading out to the strip to see the sigh

So cool! I’m not much for road trips but I enjoy hearing about your adventures. I hope for no more mechanical problems and clear roads ahead!
